Level 10’s qualify to the Junior Olympic National Championships

LOUISVILLE, KY, April 9th — Louisville is proud to send two gymnasts to the Junior Olympic National Championships, as the only gymnasts representing KY, to compete against the very best gymnasts in the country.

These two Champion Gymnastics’ gymnasts qualified for the Junior Olympic (JO) Nationals at the Level 10 Region V Championships held in Indianapolis, IN on April 8th. Anna Kaziska, a Junior at Fern Creek High School, (3-time National Qualifier and 2015 National Beam Champion) placed 1st at this year’s Region V Championships (Beam & the AA) despite suffering an injury in December. Lauren Bannister, a Freshman at North Oldham High School, qualified for the first time this weekend after a solid day of competition.

While Champion, has a long history of qualifying athletes, this is the first time since 2004 that they qualified multiple gymnasts to the JO National Championships. Past JO National Qualifiers have gone to to compete at universities around the country as this amazing accomplishment for our athletes is one of the most important milestones in achieving their goal towards collegiate gymnastics.

The Level 10’s will be competing May 6th – 7th in Indianapolis, IN – You can follow results and other information about the event at http://www.jonationals.com
