Anamaria Roe

Anamaria began her gymnastics journey as a child in Romania and, by the age of thirteen, was invited to train at the Olympic Center alongside other national and international champions. She went on to win medals in prestigious competitions such as the American Cup, Goodwill Games, European Championships, and Junior Olympic Games. Despite being selected as one of the six gymnasts for the 1996 Olympic Team representing Romania, she was unfortunately unable to compete due to a knee injury. 

For the past 25 years, she has been coaching in Region 5, preparing athletes who have won State, Regional, and National Championships. Anamaria is a National level-rated judge and the recipient of the Master of Sports Certification awarded by the Romanian Gymnastics Federation. 

In 2007, she graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with an emphasis in Business and a Certificate in International Business. In 2012, she returned to SVSU to complete a minor in Accounting. She has served as a clinician and Head Event Leader for many Region 5 camps, including Hot Shot, Super Camp, Forward Progress, and Hi Tech. Anamaria can be reached via email: total205ana@yahoo.com
