Trampoline & Tumbling
What is Competitive Power Tumbling?
Our fast-paced high flying sport has been around for a while. Although most people are familiar with traditional gymnastics (bars, beam, floor, vault)…power tumbling offers a whole new world of jumping and flipping! T&T involves three different apparatus including: rod floor, double-mini and trampoline. Athletes begin at age 4 with basic rolls on floor and jumps on double-mini and trampoline – and can progress up to multiple flips and twists on each apparatus with opportunities to compete at a national level with many scholarship opportunities.
Champion T&T Program
Our athletes, ranging in age from 4-21, compete on the three different events throughout the region. After qualifying at state, they advance to the National Championships held in June each year at various locations around the country. Athletes train at Champion Gymnastics Team gym each week – anywhere from 3 hours per week to 7.5 hours per week depending on their level. The competition commitment also varies depending on age and level.
